The Three Lines of Work

The basic discipline of the School can be described as knowledge, meditation and practice.

The Three Lines of Work is concerned with the practical application of the philosophical practices acquired so far.

- Practice means implementing in action that which has been illuminated, powered by the energy from meditation.

A prerequisite for enrolment:

Completion of the most of the first 14 courses.

WHAT IS THE COURSE ABOUT?

Spiritual work had three aspects or three lines.

The first line of work is work on oneself. This includes meditation, attending group meetings, where we hear the words of the wise and come to a greater understanding of them, and practising what we hear between meetings.

The second line of work is work with and for others, without reward. This is a natural outcome of the first line of work, working on oneself.

The third line of work is described as work for the work’s sake. It is a natural consequence of the perfection of the second line of work.
